What I liked
Very poor renal consultants. Fine until you start asking questions and would like to help yourself. Never consulted about lifestyle, diet or fitness. Once It was clear I wanted to be proactive in my renal care I was given the cold shoulder.
Peterborough renals services was equally as poor, in fact they said they did not even need to see me any more. I have been under a nephrologist since 1993 and quite rightly so.
Appalling. And once again doctors/consultants should be given an annual MOT to prove competence.
This complaint does NOT refer to the dialysis unit of which I have no experience.
What could be improved
The cionsultants should do what they are paid to do and should involve patients in the care plans.
"Fine until you start asking questions."
