"Waiting times at Day case Unit"

About: Weston Park Hospital

I have been receiving treatment for almost 4 years, every 3 weeks.

I cannot fault the care and professionalism of the nursing staff, however the appointment system is a shambles.

My next appointment is only created and dispensed when I finish the current treatment session, and the appointment times are getting later and later each time.

I regularly turn up 15 minutes early for treatment, then spend between one and two hours in Reception before getting into the Unit, followed by usually 3-4 hrs (for 1hr 45 mins infusion).

I totally understand that there are a LOT of patients, but surely it is possible to manage the appointments better? I want to change hospital.
