I am flabbergasted as to why my partner has been sent home in agony. He was in A and E today, after having an excruciating headache for over a week. He can't even stand up. He's come home, in agony, vomiting everywhere. Had a CT scan that was okay. One doctor said he would have a lumbar puncture and MRI. Another doctor in the evening came and said go home, it's a bad migraine, go and see your GP. They could have at least given him something to bring home for the migraine, it is weeks before we can get a GP appointment.
He has come home and can't even stand straight he's in that much agony. He was given something there for the migraine and sickness. He told them it had taken the edge off but still there. It's come back on the way home, and he's in agony. How can they let someone suffer like this. He never complains, or goes the doctors, on this occasion he had to as couldn't bare the pain any longer and he's still in the same situation. As a nurse I'm ashamed of you.
"Absolutely disgusting treatment, sent someone..."
