Evening of hell. 85 year old father, advanced prostate cancer, urine problems. Unable to get appointment with GP, ( first available 18 th March and no daily appointments available 3 days running! ) Sent to Balmoral walk in centre who sent us to A and E, who sent us to Meddoc. Waiting room heaving with people- Nearly SEVEN hours before seen by doctor as 111 appointments kept being slotted in before us. No drink, no food and didn't dare go in search of either in case we lost our place!
