"Halton Integrated Recovery Service"

About: Ashley House / Recovery service

(as a staff member),

Services from Ashley House are changing. We want your views and are forming a steering group to ensure that the service is for the community and has input from the community.

CRI is delighted to announce that on 1 February 2012 Ashley House became a fully integrated CRI service: Halton Integrated Recovery Service. The service is an exciting opportunity to create a bespoke recovery system for the Halton area. The recovery system will support individuals to prepare for and to sustain long-term recovery in their community.

CRI's values stem from a therapeutic approach, where our teams demonstrate respect for others; a commitment to excellence; a sense of vocation and a determination to make our communities safer and healthier.

The initial stages of the implementation have been extremely positive with CRI colleagues, old and new, working towards a shared vision. The service has been supported by existing projects including East Lancashire, Cumbria, Warrington and Sefton. Sefton graduates, peer mentors and volunteers have met with Halton service users to poll opinion and provide a clear overview of the different aspects of the service that are good and where improvements are required.

The next few weeks will see the formulation of a steering group consisting of service users and other relevant parties to help shape and develop the service ensuring that it is a service for the community created by the community. If you would like to be involved with this initiative please contact Ashley House on 0151 422 1400 and ask to speak to Donna.
