With reference to my previous comments regarding the provision of hearing aids and the reply given. I followed the complaints proceedure through PALS only to be told that they could not offer any solution. I received a letter which towed the line from the Consultant by saying that the adjustments I required to the sound levels on the Siemens hearing aids would not be ethical. At one consultation I was advised that I should use a mains driven Audio amplifier and loudspeakers, adjusted to balance my hearing. She must have been kidding ! There has never been a denial of the statement that she made.
