"Maternity ward fantastic care"

I would like to thank all the staff on the maternity unit. I had my little boy 2 days after my due date. I went in on friday night and didnt leave until a few days later as we had a few issues. The moment we arrived we were made welcome and all the staff and i mean all were super efficient and helpful. It was my first baby and unfortunately i had to have emergency forceps... the staff reassured me and the after care i received was superb. One press of my buzzer and i had breastfeeding support staff on hand to help along with midwifes.

I was on bay 17 and wanted to say a huge thanks to those staff and i know they need lots more recognition. They all go above and beyond to help.

We understand how daunting it can be when delivering a baby and are pleased to hear that staff were super-efficient, reassuring and helpful. Your kind comments have been passed onto the Maternity department with special mention of Bay 17 who will be thrilled to learn of them.
