"A & E treatment"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

Having fainted in my bathroom and having collapsed against the shower screen, which was shattered (leading to cuts and bruises), my sons took me to A & E at Charing Cross at 2 am on 8th February. I was seen promptly by nursing and other medical staff, who were both courteous and efficient. Following the completion of tests, including a brain scan and blood tests, I was allowed home at 7:30 am that morning. I was very satisfied by the treatment I received at the hospital. I was fortunate, though, that my son was able to drive me to hospital, as otherwise I understand that I could have faced a two-hour wait for an ambulance.
