About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I had a tonsillectomy operation, and was looked after by the nurses Ella, Claire, Jen and Megan at the daycare surgery unit. This is was a new experience for me and it could not have went better, they all looked after me perfectly and made it as easy as possible for me and even enjoyable.

Many thanks for taking the time to get in touch, may I take this opportunity to apologise for the time it has taken to respond to you.

It is lovely to hear your surgery went well and your experience in day surgery was so good that it was enjoyable, it must have been a relief to you being made to feel at ease, at a time when you would have been feeling a little anxious.

I hope you have made a fully recovery since your surgery and are feeling much better. I shared your feedback with the staff you mentioned in your posting, they were delighted to hear from you.
