Following a visit to this surgery by my mum to pay for a GP letter for my son I would like to recommend reception staff complete a course in customer service.
As an NHS employee in a large acute hospital I am experienced dealing with patients and relatives face to face and recognise that is a major part of my job, could I suggest the practice manager ensures the reception staff in this practice also recognise without patients you wouldn’t have a job.
Please get some manners and treat people how you expect to be treated!
