"Thee service/ treatment I received was excellent !"

I was referred to Bedford hospital by my GP for a colonoscopy and blood tests after having a change of bowel movements and pains lasting several weeks. Blood tests were done the same day with only 1/2 hour waiting time. My outpatients appointment to see a consultant was scheduled within days of my GP referral and colonoscopy arraged for 2 weeks after that. In all the outpatients appointments I had I was seen within 5- 10 minutes of my appointment times and the consultants and nursing staff were all friendly, sympathetic, kind, professional and efficient .

The NHS gets a lot of criticism but I can’t fault the service I received from my both GP and Bedford Hospital when I needed it!
