I am a first time mom and I have to say that the care I received was excellent and I could not fault it. From the midwife I spoke to on the phone when having contractions, the midwives who looked after me during my labour, the theatre staff, the midwives on the ward after and the breast feeding support team.
I had to go to theatre in the end and the decision made was quick and I felt fully involved. The theatre team were amazing and kept me informed all the way through. The breast feeding support worker was my angel through the night, she supported me and even helped with changing my little one, she even came back to me when her shift had ended, making her late. There is so much negativity for the NHS and I know people do have bad experiences but I have to say I felt respected and cared for throughout. I would choose the manor hospital if I have another baby and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
"Great care"
