Hearing comments like these, remind us of why we do our job. It gives us some reassurance that we are doing a good job and that we are helping our patients to celebrate the here and now. Celebrating is hard for people when they are locked in the constant turmoil of dementia, so we aim to support people in celebrating the small things that give some wellbeing in their lives.
