"Dad's stay was excellent, he is recovering slowly..."

What I liked

My Dad was in hospital for two weeks, he is 82 and had a heart valve replacement. He was treated with dignity and not ignored because he is elderly. All the staff were polite and had time to explain medication etc.

What could be improved

My only grip was that Dad was told on numerous occasions that he could come home tomorrow. I understand that his medication was a problem but he became more and more disappointed that he could not come home when originally told. Perhaps he could have been given a date in the future to look forward too.
