"My daughters experience"

My daughter recently required emergency surgery at ARI and I can not fault any of the departments she was seen by. 

We had an urgent appointment with Dr Ococco at Mintlaw group practice.Dr Ococco was excellent, so supportive, took time to discuss things and read up on my daughters history before our appointment and we can not thank her enough. She sent us to ward 208 clinic at ARI straight away. At 208 clinic all the staff were very helpful and my daughter was seen by the surgeons who stated she would require an operation the next day. The care she was given in 208 was second to none, all the staff were very friendly. She was given the choice to stay or go home and return to 302 the next day, we decided to go home and come in next day, we were told to go to Ward 302 for 7am.

 Ward 302 were fantastic. My daughter was in quite a bit of pain and so uncomfortable before her surgery and the staff were so supportive to her. I can not thank the nurses Leanne and Siobhan enough, from start to finish they were excellent and so supportive, made the whole experience so much easier and nothing was a problem for them.

I would like to thank Mintlaw Group Practice practice nurses. My daughter had to go daily to get her dressings done and they have been so good to her. All the nurses she has seen have been excellent but special thanks to Sharlene and Mandy who she has seen reguarly. They have been so supportive and reassuring. They have made everything much easier for her and have went above and beyond there role to help her. I can’t thank them enough. 

The care my daughter has received from our first appointment, before, during and after surgery has been outstanding and thank you too all who have been involved, you are worth your weight in gold. X
