I had a TVT for urinary incontinence which left me in lots of pain and with my life really restricted. I had partial removal in 2012 and a supposed full removal in 2013 at Manor hospital Oxford. Neither helped and I struggled trying to live a normal life.
In December 2017 I found out through the Sling the Mesh Facebook group that it was not possible for full mesh removal to be done laparoscopically (at that time?) and made an appointment to see Ms Elneil in London.
This wonderful surgeon removed lots of remaining mesh in May 2018 and I am now healing well, only get pain if I overdo things, and starting to live life to the full again.
