"put at ease by very competent and caring staff,..."

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

What I liked

I had an endoscopy to remove a meatball that had got stuck in my throat, emergency operation as it happened the night before. although the wait seemed a bit long before i was finally treated, the operation went well, and special thanks to all who were involved, made to feel very calm, took the throat spray option to numb the throat, had a little discomfort with gagging a couple of times, but dont' be put off it is fine overall. just like to say thankyou to all the staff who cared for me during my day, left at 5.30pm feeling that all had done a very professional job, and gives you great optimism for the way the hospital is managed, thankyou to all!!

What could be improved

I felt at times before the operation that i could have been informed more regularly as to how things were proceeding, but taking inot account i'm not the only patient this is a very small gripe.
