"Every step of the way I felt supported"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute) / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I went to A&E following a bad fall at training, I was alone with a head injury, and all staff that interacted with me did an amazing job. It was busy yet I had nurses checking on me regularly, talking to me and putting me at ease while I was stuck strapped to a bed waiting for a CT scan. The doctors looks after me were thorough but kept me calm as they performed their checks. When the nurses had to cut my hoody to fit the neck brace, they were kind enough to cut along the seams so I could repair it later. Every step of the way I felt supported and feel the nurses did an amazing job
