(as a service user),

Thank you to Fiona and her student nurse Megan for the care of my son today in Day surgery. We were treated with respect and care from the minute we entered the doors to discharge. No question was an issue and care was tailored to my sons age. Megan you will be an asset to the nursing paediatric profession.

Thank you to Dr Low for a successful procedure and the lovely consultant anaesthetist who let me be the soppy mum in theatre as my son was administered his GA. A truly positive experience. Thank you

Apologies for taking so long to respond to your lovely accolade to the paediatric day surgery team. It is lovely to hear your experience was so positive and I would like to thank you, on their behalf, for your lovely post.

Your lovely words have been passed to Fiona, Megan, the team and Megan's University Practice Educator.

I hope all is well and both you and your son are fully recovered. In my view, no matter what age they get to, it is okay to be a 'soppy mum'; they are still your 'wee one' after all.Image title
