About: Saffron Group Practice

I have been with Saffron Health since June 2014. My husband got me in with severe back pain and he called around 2:30 pm. I had an appointment for 3:00pm. Doctor was kind, sympathetic. I was prescribed a antibiotic to deal with a urine infection but he said if I don't feel better in 3 days to come back. Within the third day, I was beside myself with pain. Husband called 111 and we were given a appointment at the clinic in LRI for 10:00pm. Doctor there sent me immediately for xray and discovered a very large kidney stone. I was x-rayed, admitted and transferred to the General all by 3:00am and booked for surgery for noon.

On the next occasion I was having difficulty breathing. I called at 8:00 and yes, I was in a que on the phone, I was number 16 I believe and only waited about 15 minutes and had an appointment for 10:00. I was not in dire straights by any means but I knew I needed an inhaler and didn't have one. I don't use them all the time and the last time I needed one was 3 years before that. I was looked at, with permission granted by me, by a student doctor and a Saffron Health doctor was present. I walked out with a prescription. Filled it and instantly got my relief.

I can't say enough about the nurses, those that answer our calls and the doctors. They are a wonderful group, coping with a lot of ill people and some who can be quite rude.

To all of you at Saffron Health, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.

My last visit was for the flu shot which I might add, I am reminded of and given a list of clinics when it is available.
