I visited Epsom today 19/03/2012 and i finally got the blood pressure meds i should have got 6 weeks ago !!!! Apparently cardio specialists case notes went to medical secretary pool and got Lost.....

Thank you for taking the time to comment on the care you received from the cardiology team at Epsom Hospital.

I am really pleased that you were not kept waiting for your appointments and that you were treated with privacy and dignity. In addition, we're pleased to hear that you would recommend us to friends and family.

However, I am very sorry to learn that there was a delay in you receiving your medication. From what you say this was caused by an administration error. As you may know, we treat more than 700,000 patients a year and, whilst mistakes like this will happen, it must have been hugely frustrating. As such, I apologise on behalf of the hospital.

I have passed all of your comments on to the department and have asked them to share them with the team involved in your care.
