What I liked

Can I thank all the nurses and doctors who cared for my father on ward 11 Coronary Care. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times and we were kept fully informed of his progress. We just can not thank then enough for what they have done to my father during his stay. The nurses were fantastic and especially the one that looked after my father on Thursday when he came out of theatre after his angyoplasty. This nurse was very much on the ball and knew her job very well. Thanks again to all on ward 11.

What could be improved

I don't think anything could have been improved. The only snag really is that visiting could be extended a little on an evening to give relatives the time to get home from work and visit.

We very much appreciate these comments and thank the family for taking the time to post on the site. With regard to visiting times, these are set to protect patient mealtimes and rest periods. We do try to take into account particular circumstances, however, and ward sisters can agree alternative arrangements where these are practical.
