What could be improved

Staff attitudes, and consideration towards patients whilst waiting to be dealt with in haematology department,should be vastly improved!

Whilst waiting to have bloods taken during an admittedly,very busy morning clinic, I was berrated by two different members of staff for sitting in the wrong chairs! There appeared to be a "turf war" between one clinic and another,as to who should sit where.Staff attitude was absolutely disgusting towards me,especially as I had given up my seat for an incredibly ill looking old man.This experience has forced me to the conclusion that South Tyneside Hospital is a " no go " area in the future.I certainly will not be choosing it for any treatment I may ,in the future, require.
