What I liked

My elderly father was admitted via A&E . Fearing the worst about the hospital having read press coverage about the treatment of the elderly in hospitals I can only say that we have been bowled over by the treatment he is receiving. The hospital is clean, he loves the food (inspite of saying he would never eat hospital food!) and the staff are taking excellent care of him. Thank you all - you have made a stressful time a lot easier. Hopefully he will go home soon.

Special thanks to the A&E nurses on duty Saturday late afternoon -who was amazingly caring

Thank you for taking the time to let us have feedback about the care your father received at Epsom Hospital.

Your comments are very much appreciated and I have passed them on to the team involved, including A&E and the catering department.

The care the elderly receive in some hospitals and care homes has rightly been in the media. However, I am pleased to say that those story are by no means the 'norm' and that we pride ourselves on providing our patients with the very best care, no matter their age.
