"Out of Control !!"

This practice is totally out of control. Service is awful.

They don't answer the phone in a reasonable time and don't ring back when they promise to do so.

My wife has cancer and when she requested a further sick note. A locum rang and insisted on asking why she wanted it. He had no notes on my wife's case and caused genuine distress. Not his fault as he explained he has to make 80 calls a day asking this question

Yesterday after a long and stressful wait on the phone we decided to go to the practice in person as we had been asked to attend and arrange appointments for blood pressure checks. Following recent hospital appointments my wife had been told to get a cholesterol check and I had been told to get a neumonia Jan to follow up from my flu jab.

The receptionist looked a rabbit in headlights,seemed very stressed and verging on rudeness.

Didn't know how to book either a cholesterol test or a neumonia Jab.

Promised to phone us later that day.

Needless to say have heard nothing since.

A follow up call today has stayed unanswered

We have a formal complaints process which you are welcome to use and there are forms and guidance available from the surgery.

Without further details we are regretfully not able to investigate further, but we would welcome the chance to look into these issues for you.
