About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

What I liked

Staff although overworked were exceptionally caring and nice plus did an excellent job. Did not even get a chance to feel homesick during my stay because of the cheerful environment inspite of not receiving any visitors until minutes before my discharge. Facilities howvever weren't exactly perfect but I'd still recommend this hospital to any women looking at getting reffered to the department in London.

What could be improved

WC facilities-cleanliness and prompt collection of urine samples.

My bed in particularly was a bit temperamental in functioning.

Officially discharge announcement around 1430 but discharged 6 hours later so quite a wait which I've been told is the norm.

Anything else?

Bed wasn't ready on day of op so once allocated bed post op, first thing I got back were my trainers, then my bag the morning after and the clothes I was in the afternoon after they were found. My items in safekeeping I got back just before I left (after chasing up for 2 days) was allowed though to make a phone call out quite close upon getting discharged but I'd reccommend to patients regular visitors to faciltate outside communication.
