What I liked

I visited Chorley Hospital at 8pm on Friday 9th March, which I suspect is a busy time. I had suffered impact damage to my jaw (sustained whilst cutting down a tree) and so was X-rayed and carefully examined to make sure there were no other complications. All the staff who dealt with me were friendly and courteous and, above all, caring. They were efficient and professional. After receiving this very thorough examination, together with carefully explained advice on how to treat the injuries, we left the hospital at 9.30pm.

All I see in the newspapers is criticism of the NHS but I am most impressed by the treatment I received at Chorley and am very grateful to staff who were so kind and efficient.
