"Trying to make an appointment"

About: Eastview Surgery

Rang the appts line at 830, pressed 1 to make an appt, was told I was number 4 in the queue. 37 minutes later I am still listening to pan piped music waiting for somebody to pick the phone up. How can it take so long to deal with the 3 people ahead of me ringing up for an appt? Am now at 39 minutes of pan pipes.

Please accept our sincere apologies if the practice is not meeting your expectations.

We have recently updated our telephone system and now have four lines coming into the surgery, and two receptionists answering them.

We do not normally have any problems with our system and I am sincerely sorry that you had an issue getting through to us.

We offer the facility to book appointment online, if this is something you are interested in, please call into the practice so the reception staff can advise you of how to register for on-line access.
