"Bowel Cancer Screening - 14/1/19"

About: Leighton Hospital

I attended a bowel cancer screening appointment this morning and have left feeling thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the whole operation.

My appointment was at 08:50 and I was changed and in a theatre by 09:15; the information given was specific and delivered in a friendly and professional manner. The actual process, embarrassing as it innately is and given the intricacies of the process, was both professional and well-informed and I couldn't have felt more at ease; the team was led by a consultant and I couldn't have been better informed and cared for - it's not a pleasant process but they dealt with my few questions effectively and made me feel valued and cared for. From the chap on reception, through to the consultant and the whole team, I felt assured and in safe hands. I can not fault the professionalism and efficiency of the whole system.

Faultless.
