"Caused months of suffering."

First memory person that visited home wouldn't listen to my concerns for my husband.

Suggested seeing a Marriage Guidance councillor?

Weeks passes sees a phcholgist who I gave all the written details of my husbands bizzare behaviour. Too many to list here.

She sees him a couple of weeks wait then we here scan booked. Waited for the scan

By now i had been seen by my doctor and chrisis team member to help support what I was going through.

Sadly scan showed no result.

Called to see the phchtrist who's name I want to find out as she is arrogant and completely wrong in her attitude and her diagnosis.

I tried to explain his behaviour as Chris didn't seem to witness it himself.

I told her how he bangs his head against the wall! Her answer was ( we all have different ways of dealing with stress) ?

I explained how at times he was hostile towards me .and other symptoms that she must've read from my letter given to her phcholgist.

She said there was nothing she could do. I asked please could we see another phcholgist she said there was no point. I asked her what could I do. She simply said you could try mind matters. We did that a year ago and they agreed Christopher needed more serious investigation. In frustration I told her she could have him for twenty four hours and I got up to leave. She said there was nothing could be done. I couldn't accept walking away again with no help.

I left my husband for the whole afternoon and because of that in panic he'd rang the memory

Clinic saying I'd left him and told them he was suicidal if I didn't come back.

Next RIT team got involved. Weeks passing. Their pchytrist came eventually and orderd spec scan . In this time the RIT team handled things so badly. And weren't there when promised.

Finally my husband was diagnosed from the scan with frontal lobe and mixed dementia that he's had for some time !

Please note that this clinic says their aim is to get a diagnosis as quick as possible.? And the help we received ?????

Months I sufferd and my husband did. And a good phyctrist is supposed to listen to the person with someone with dementia as they can see what the person with dementia can't.

Finally if kept the copy of the letter the pchytrist sent to my doctor's telling him Mr Booth in her eyes was fine. I want her to acknowledge that letter.
