"Outstanding service whenever I have felt unwell"

I have been a very grateful patient at Kennedy Way Surgery for over 33 years. Throughout this time, but particularly since I retired, I have very occasionally needed to see a GP when feeling really unwell. The system of making a phone call and requesting a call back from a GP has always worked extremely well for me. In fact, often a GP has phoned me within 20-30 minutes. I have always been offered a same day appointment often for the morning of my phone call. This is exceptional professional treatment for a patient for which I am extremely grateful. As a patient it is wonderful to feel secure in the knowledge that when I need medical help or advice I can access this quickly and easily. All GPs at Kennedy Way surgery are highly professional, knowledgeable and offer appropriate treatment.

I appreciate the kindness, care and consideration shown by the nursing team who run the system of annual blood tests and vaccinations. They are highly professional, start appointments very early in the morning (mine is often booked for 0730 which works well for me) and the blood test results are given over the telephone when I call for them. The reception desk staff are organised and manage the patient phone calls extremely well.

Having heard news items over recent years about how long people across the country have to wait for an appointment to see a GP I know how fortunate I am to have Kennedy Way surgery as my first port of call when I am in pain or ill. A huge thank you to all who work there.
