I attended the day unit today with my son who waa extremely anxious about tooth extractions.

The dental hospital have been patient and made attempts with gas and air , the offer of IV sedation and given the level of anxiety provided a GA.

Each individual who provided care today was thorough and gave lots of information and opportunities for questions. What was so important was the style of communication, warm, empathic and reassuring.

The nurses, anaesthetic team and dentist were all excellent and we are very appreciative of their care and attention.
