"Minor injury department with Son's fractured wrist"

About: Ripon and District Community Hospital

My son attended the minor injury department, where the staff greeted him and was seen by a nurse within 10 minutes. They were very kind and helpful, and advised an x-ray was required. After waiting at x-ray for a couple of minutes he was seen to and sent back to minor injury. The nurse kindly explained and showed him the x-rays of his wrist, and the details of his fracture, talking to him all the time. After dressing his injury they advised what to do and were very friendly, kind and helpful. From entering the hospital from the polite reception to leaving the ward with injury diagnosed and medical care given, we left within 40 minutes.

What a lovely bunch of people. Thank you
