The details on this site about the lymphedema clinic at Charing Cross Hospital are misleading. I have developed symptoms of lymphedema following breast cancer surgery at Charing Cross earlier this year, and five weeks after seeing the Breast Cancer Nurse about my symptoms, with symptoms getting worse during this time, it now transpires that actually there is zero support for breast cancer patients at the Lymphedema Clinic and the only options are a referral to a hospice near where I live or that I somehow find private care for my symptoms. I think there needs to be better communication so that breast cancer patients are made aware of this sooner.
