"Support following stroke"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Stroke care

(as the patient),

Had a stroke on a plane ✈️ - had emergency stop in France, in hospital for three weeks then repatriated to forth valley for further care. Stroke came on very quick, did not know what was happening to me. Landed in hospital within 20 minutes and was thrombosis and then in ward with first class care.

Back to Scotland three weeks later to forth valley larbert. Felt that I could not do anything that I used to do, hard to adapt to do things, all weak down left hand side, started physio in hospital then back home after 10 days to recover.

9 months later still waiting on psychologist as this service is not freely available for stroke patients which is so bad as the stroke can affect the brain but no proper input to make me feel any better as I feel having no access immediately has caused more damage mentally to me.
