"Felt worse through the care"

About: West London NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I felt this was an awful service, they failed to even assess me which itself had serious impacts, symptoms worsening, staff are controlling and incapable of communicating respectfully to patients thus inflicting added distress. I felt there was neglectful and psychological ill treatment due to the incompetence/failings of staff employed by the Trust.

I feel that the care that I have received from the WLMHT has in fact worsened my mental wellbeing, this is due to staff employed by the trust.  It feels like they have in fact acted to only encourage me to act on my thoughts and even asked me - do I want to kill myself?

Bottom line: In my experience, staff are not competent, judgemental nor are they even capable of delivering a professional and ethical service to the most vulnerable.

Dear ab313

Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to you. I am really concerned with the experience you have received from the Trust and I would like to ask you to make contact with us so we can identify the service you visited. Please can you email PALS@westlondon.nhs.uk so we can look into this for you.

Best wishes

Sara
