"XRay Department"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

The volunteer was not present when I walked into the main corridor which was a shame as I find them extremely civil and helpful. However, I managed to find my way to the main X ray department. After being booked in I had a wait of approximately 45 minutes which wasn’t bad if you don’t need an appointment. The staff were extremely considerate although while I I was waiting for my XRay I was joking with other ‘patients’ about the lack of advice about how to wear the gowns. It was obviously something which was playing on people’s minds.

The radiographer couldn't have been nicer. She gave lovely clear instructions and was very patient and informative about when the GP was likely to get the results.

The department felt calm and organised. Well done everyone.
