"Renal Infusion"

About: Renal (Kidney) Medicine & Dialysis

(as the patient),

I was at the renal unit in Crosshouse Hospital on Thursday, all the staff were excellent. I went to the hospital having forgotten my appointment letter at home so initially went to the wrong place. The nurse there was extremely kind, she  found out where I was meant o be and walked across to the right place with me. Rachel, who did the infusion for me was so very helpful.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear earthjg86,

Just walking in the door of the hospital can be scary enough without being 'lost' so it is so good to hear that you got the help you needed and that Rachel was helpful too. I will be very happy to share this with Rachel and the team. I am sure it will make Rachel's day.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about this recent visit,

best wishes,

Eunice
