My husband has Alzheimers and is on 3 different medications. Regarding one in particular, he has received conflicting advice from 3 consultants in differing specialties.
This has naturally caused confusion.
The pharmacist was very helpful and confirmed what we thought that the medication should not be changed which one particular consultant had recommended.
As the Alzheimer's progresses, the pharmacist suggested that we then consider changing the medication.
Her advice was very helpful and relieved us of a lot of stress.
