"keeping appointments"

THe Sandyford sexual health clinic in Glasgow has a problem with its phones. Its nearly impossible to get through and this phone problem has ben going on for a couple of years. I go for an appointment every few months  - which I make face to face...and as requested wanted to contact them to change. Put on hold....23 customers  in front of me. this goes on from monday to today which is wednesday. Makes phoning your gas supllier look like a breeze. . Could not get thu so went to my appointment twenty minutes early, explained i needed to leave at certain time, been tryng to phone for three days  etc. The receptionsist explained they caused non stop trouble and couldnt cope specially after weekends. I waited as long as I could 45 minutes afteer appointment time and then had to leave. The receptionsist was very nice and said sorry and I said it s been going on for years and she said dont we know!

I dont mind waiting and i would always let the doctors know i f i had to change my appointments  but i do think they should fix the phones so everyone ca get thru and they dont mess up the appointments and the waiting times. And i think if you want to stop sexual diseases you at least allow people to contact the sexual clinic....especially after the weekend.
