"Helpful and reassuring care from NHS Direct"

I recently had the need to call NHS Direct a couple of weeks ago. First of all at about 11.30pm on a Sunday evening and subsequently at about 3.30am the following morning.

All I can say is that the two nurses I spoke with were without exception, helpful, patient, personable, knowledgable and constantly reassuring. They correctly identified that I had a serious infection in my arm and kept me calm and made me able to get through the night.

All I can say is Thank You NHS Direct. An amazing service.
