my wife was admitted to Surgical Assessment in early December with a diverticulitis flareup. From this point onwards, until discharge just before Christmas, the treatment and care that she received was excellent. The initial treatment of intravenous antibiotics unfortunately did not work and the colorectal team decided an operation was required. The surgical team were amazing, from the pre operation involvement, to post operative communication and care. There are too many people to thank individually but there were many amazing, dedicated, individuals from Intensive Care, Physiotherapy, Radiology, the Stoma Nurses and all the hard working staff of Pulteney Ward. We cannot thank you enough for all for the treatment we received and the friendly way in which it was provided
"excellent treatment"
