"Incredible level of care at UCLH"

I am so thankful for the incredible care I received from the wonderful UCLH doctors, nurses & staff when visiting the A&E on Boxing Day.

I presented at A&E and was immediately dealt with in a friendly and supportive manner by the reception staff, and then seen within 10 minutes by the triage nurse who undertook an initial assessment and put me at ease with her confident, competent and friendly manner.

I waited for just under 2 hours in the A&E as there were a number of people ahead of me - but we had comfortable seats and the A&E waiting area was well organised.

We had expected to wait longer given that it was a bank holiday, but were really thankful for how quickly I was seen. The

Dr treated me, and was Incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring.

After various tests, I was able to go home and recover.

I was so impressed also with the follow-up from UCLH, letting me know the results from the tests - and checking on my recovery.

I am hugely thankful for the care, consideration and professionalism that I encountered at every part of my time at UCLH - especially for all the staff who had given up their family time to work across the Christmas break.
