"Christmas day visit"

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Yesterday afternoon our 19 months old son had such a high temperature we have never saw before (not going down with paracetamol) pairing with a very fast breath and heartbeat and all together a very lethargic and sleepy baby that we took him to the A&E.

As soon as we arrived we were assisted to the side ,where a nurse asked for all the details checked is vitals and we were admited straight to the ward, where we were quickly and professional helped by an amazing nurse and an emergency doctor. They managed to took his temperature down but still decided to admit him to the children ward due to his fast heartbeat and originally low oxigen level.

Once in the children ward we were given a little bed for him, a chair which could be turned into a bed and an other chair for my husband. I wouldn't say it was the most comfortable night we had, but we managed to sleep and most importantly be there with the little man. During the night he had various doctor and nurse check and everytime everybody was extremly nice and helpful, offering informations about him, discussing possibilities, explaining everything.

I would really like to thank for all of the hard working fantastic NHS people for there amazing work and to keep a very cranky, very sad little person and his family as happy as possible.

Thank you Countess of Chester and Merry Christmas.
