"Amazing staff in AE"

Unfortunately I had to attend AE today with abdominal pain but it was made easier by the outstanding treatment and care I received.

From the assessment nurse on arrival through to the discharge nurse and many Drs I saw I can't praise then highly enough. The department is well organised and all tests and investigations where carried out in a timely manner and I was treated with care, compassion and dignity throughout.

Every single member of staff that I encountered was polite, caring and had a very positive attitude towards their patients and their job. With winter pressures in AE I was particularly impressed with the teamwork and sense of morale amongst the staff because this then reflects the quality of patient care.

I can't thankyou enough, you are a great team and thanks for making a difficult day a bit easier.
