What I liked

All staff including the Consultant are friendly and respectful , i was treated with dignity and sensitivity at all times. The consultant made a huge effort to minimise the scarring and appearance of the breast following surgery. The day centre ward is extremely clean and well run, the staff were caring, helpful and cheerful which makes a huge difference when you have been diagnosed with cancer.

What could be improved

If i was being pernickity i would comment on the admissions procedure, we all had to queue up and register like a supermarket queue with no confidentiality regarding name address or emergency contact details, however the staff were efficient.

Anything else?

Overall it was a positive experience and as a nurse myself it restored my faith in the NHS- thank you
