I am so sorry for what was clearly a very worrying time for you and your husband. It can be difficult waiting for tests and decisions but please be reassured that these decisions are made on a clinical basis. We should however have kept you informed on what was happening and why - and I am very sorry for this.

In terms of the Blue Badge for parking - we are bound legally in its use, which is that you can only use someone else's badge if they are in the car with them or you are picking up or dropping them off, and they need to park close to where you need to go.

I hope your husband is now recovering and once again I am really sorry for your experience at a time that was so worrying.

Jennie
