"was very unhappy with everything"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

What I liked

nothing

What could be improved

more staff, bathrooms and toilets need to be cleaned more in A & E and on the Children's ward, the food could be better, and staff that go threw everything better with you .

Anything else?

My son had a seizure last week at school he is five year;s old the school rang for an amberlance and a rapid response team car came he radio for a amberlance to come but there was none available so the rapid response team had to take me and my son he the back of his car and take us to the royal Bolton hospital on blue light's. When we got to the A & E department my son was seen by the nurse for five mins then we waited for an hour and the nurse sent him for an x ray on his chest were she said he had a chest infection so she sent him up to the children's ward after another two hours of waiting and we waited to see the doctor when we saw the doctor he said his x ray was clear when it was not after me having viewed this for myself but there was also an x ray from last year were his chest was clear so i think the doctor looked at the wrong one after me pointing this out to the doctor on the children's ward he quoted ( i have seen quite a few x ray's in my time and said it was fine ) he was quite rude when he said this. After been in hospital over night they let him go home the day after with medication i then had to take him to the see my local GP a few days after because he was not right my doctor listened to his chest and back and stated he has got a chest infection but the doctor on the children's ward said he not i was discussed by this as my son is suffering i am not happy about this what's so ever and would not recommend this hospital to anybody as this is the second time this has happened to my son at the same hospital .
