My elderly Mum Pat was admitted to RSCH by ambulance having had a fall and was cared for by Paramedics who were so cool, calm and collected and stayed with her in a corridor until a bed could be found in A&E.
Mum was taken through a series of tests by a male A&E Nurse who was so kind, thorough and gentle with a huge smile.
Mum was then assessed by the A&E Doctor who was also wonderful with such a caring bedside manner and asked all the right questions.
Again a huge smile.
We should be praising the fantastic NHS and the incredible staff who deliver life saving skills to us all in times of need. We are all aware the NHS is over stretched particularly at this time of the year.
Hospitals are scary places for people feeling vulnerable, frightened and in pain but with people like you it makes an awful time that much easier.
THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU!
