I visited the Sutherland Centre for a session and when I got there I was very disappointed with the treatment of a particular patient who was very distressed and needed support. The individual was left in the public waiting room, obviously needed immediate support, but staff were just completely ignoring them, walking past and not even acknowledging them. I am very angry with the treatment this individual was treated, they were given no respect, privacy and dignity during a very vulnerable and distressing time. The least staff could have done is checked on them every now and then, checked if they wanted any water or put they in a more private room where they would have had some privacy and dignity. However no one did that.
